Into the Blue
In this Photo of the Week, I am at my favorite scuba diving spot Sipadan, Malaysia. Let’s dive down 100-feet into the blue blue blue:::
Scuba off Sipadan. Down I go. Did I shrink into an exotic fish tank? Am I floating on an unknown planet? Maybe both. The action accelerates. Fish everywhere::::magenta, chartreuse, blood-red, school bus yellow. I pass through the vortex of 10,000 barracuda swooping straight into the void. Now face-to-face with a moray eel whose yawn can engulf me. A turtle sleeping below wakes to the odd-shaped wide-eyed four-limbed bubble-blowing creature…me! Dust falls off his back as he rolls exposing barnacles proving his primordial age. Below me sharks! So distant, but now an arm’s length away. The water’s playing tricks on me, right
