Paddling Along the Mekong in Vietnam
This Photo of the Week is passing some Vietnamese women paddling along the floating market in the Mekong Delta near Cần Thơ. While backpacking through Southeast Asia, you realize the significance of the Mekong River. Food, water, and transportation, along with fun and a place for laundry & dishes. It seems to follow you everywhere you go, especially in Laos and the Delta in Vietnam.
